Ramadan

Charlotte and I are excited to be sharing this Ramadan with Rose! Ramadan started right around the same time summer break did so we are able to stay up late and sleep in, which makes fasting a little easier.

Everyday we read Quran, pray the five daily prayers, and make duaa (supplication) as well as perform tasks we normally do such as run errands and go to work. After we break our fast we pray taraweeh (extra prayers), which also gives us time to digest our food before having another meal to prepare us for the next day.

As God told us that a fasting person’s duaa is always answered, we pray for ourselves, our friends and family, and people all across the world more than ever during Ramadan. It truly is a blessed month and I am so greatful I get to spend it with my best friends!
